A chess expert killer begins a deadly game with UNIC, leaving enigmatic clues after each crime. After kidnapping his opponent, he subjects him to a macabre play, while the detectives find traces of skin that do not belong to the victim. The investigation reveals a calculation genius that challenges UNIC with a three-hour deadline to stop him. He manipulates his victims and is always one step ahead. In a final confrontation, captain Eligio becomes trapped in his game and his life is in danger. UNIC arrives just in time to save him, but the killer hasn't made his last play.
