1940 • E16 May 17, 1940 7mDaffy Duck convinces Porky Pig to quit the cartoon biz and try his luck in the features. Porky's adventures begin when he tries to enter the studio. Features live-action segments with producer Leon Schlesinger as himself and studio writer Michael Maltese (uncredited, with his voice dubbed by Mel Blanc) as a studio guard. Studio directors Bob Clampett and Chuck Jones also have brief cameos.
