The rough-hewn beauty of the the historic Green Building, a former brass foundry in Brooklyn’s Carroll Gardens neighborhood, was a spectacular backdrop the 20-song retrospective, including her breakthrough hit “Don’t Know Why,” and concluding with an encore that saw her and her band gathered around an old-time microphone, offering sweet harmonies to send a delighted audience into the night.
