Liv and Maddie are identical twins who couldn’t be more different. Liv’s got fame and Maddie’s got game! Maddie ditches her dad at a basketball tournament to play with Joey’s new fitness trainer, Liv gets jealous when Maddie and Karen take part in a mother-daughter weekend of pioneer living, and the girls pretend to be Willow’s secret admirer so that Willow will stop crushing on Joey. They’re sisters by chance, but friends by choice – and now that they’re living under the same roof, anything can happen!

When Liv discovers the little girl she's asked to perform with shares the same strong desire for the spotlight, trouble ensues. Additionally, Pete and Maddie are in charge of decorating the city's Christmas tree, but the power goes out amid Liv's performance. Meanwhile, Parker swindles money from Joey while dressed as Santa and an elf in order to purchase an expensive present he suspects no one will gift him. - Switch-A-Rooney
