Lisa encounters a woman named Mary on the street and is able to connect her with her grandmother, who has birthday wishes to share. Lisa meets Randi for the episode's first full reading, during which she picks up the spirit of Randi's beloved dog as well as a negative entity of a man. Lisa travels to Randi's apartment to place crystals on her to give her strength. Then, while getting her nails done, Lisa connects the owner of the salon with a close male friend as well as with a grandmother figure. For her second full reading, Lisa connects Teena not only with her parents, but with her ex-boyfriend who was hit and killed by a drunk driver. Later, Lisa meets with a historian named Mark at an old Hollywood mansion and sheds light on a murder-suicide that took place there.
