Ep1.1We meet the Lion Moms - three very different mothers who share the same goal of giving their children the best. Jennifer Lee is the perfect stay at home Mom. Durrani is the power hungry career woman and Min Yi is the single mother who gives all she’s got. Best friends, the three women help each other through the numerous obstacles they face as mothers. Issues that all Singaporean mothers can identify with, such as - tuition, work life balance and stressed out children - will be addressed throughout the series. Ep1.2Durrani wants it all. She wants to be the best mother to her daughter Nabillah, the perfect spouse to her husband Reza and to top it all off, she also wants to be made partner at the law firm. Will she be able to get everything she wants or will everything come crashing all around her? The landlord has put his foot down and Min Yi finally has to accept a new housemate. It doesn’t help that he’s a vulgarity spewing slob. Min Yi and Peng try to get along, but things take a terrible turn when she realises the housemate isn’t who he appears to be. Jennifer knows everything there is to know about being a Parent Volunteer. She’s the one stop advice centre anyone would need to get clued in on the P1 Registration system. - Ep1.3E3
Ep1.3Jennifer has the perfect family - a perfect husband and perfect children. She refuses to accept that her husband Richard is a cheating scumbag. When she sees Richard with another woman, her world falls apart. In a moment of desperation, she succumbs to the charms of her attractive pilates instructor, Shane. Durrani suffers a major setback at work. Despite putting in the long hours and doing the hard work, the coveted partner position goes to someone else. Durrani seriously questions all the effort and sacrifice that she has put in. She decides to clear the backlog of leave she has to rethink her priorities. She makes a project of de-stressing. Ep1.4The teenage years are the worst! Jennifer’s teenage son, Jeremy, is determined to break every rule there is. How will Jennifer cope with his teenage angst? Durrani’s daughter, Nabilah, wants to audition for the school play. In her typical, go-getter fashion, Durrani does everything she can to prepare her daughter for the role. Min Yi finally comes face to face with her estranged father, Eddie. It’s been six long years since they last spoke. Is it finally time for a family reconciliation or will Min Yi never forgive her father for kicking her out of the home? - Ep1.5E5
Ep1.5Jennifer is unhappy with the way some things are run in school. Would she dare to voice her opinions and risk offending the principal? The workplace beckons again. After deciding to take a long absence from work, her bosses call and ask Durrani to reconsider taking even more responsibility at the law firm. Will the adrenalin of work lure Durrani away from her family once again? Min Yi’s father, Eddie decides it is time to make amends with Min Yi if he wants to get close to his grandson. Then again, maybe some wounds are just too deep to heal. Has Eddie lost the chance to be a part of his only grandchild’s life? - Ep1.6E6
Ep1.6Jennifer is completely distraught when Jeremy gets arrested for shoplifting. As punishment, he is humiliated by a public caning. Will this be enough to get Jeremy back on the right track or does he push to rebel further. Richard and Jennifer work together to help their son through this experience. Chaos reigns when Durrani’s helper suddenly announces that she has to return to Indonesia. Durrani tries to do everything on her own but Reza finally puts his foot down. His mother will come to help out. Durrani is about to meet her match. Min Yi finally tracks down her son’s biological father. Will she finally tell him of Kai’s existence? - Ep1.7E7
Ep1.7Just when Jennifer thinks that all is well with her marriage again, Richard’s mistress, Margaret, goes to Jennifer’s house and drops a bombshell. Richard is leaving Jennifer for her. How does Jennifer deal with this complete and utter humiliation? Durrani’s mother in law is appalled at how un-domesticated Durrani actually is. The inevitable altercation happens between the two women. It is revealed that the mother in law never approved of Durrani in the first place. The big question is - whose side is Reza going to take? Min Yi finally meets Kai’s father, Marcus. Will the meeting go as she always thought it would be or would it turn out all horribly wrong? - Ep1.8E8
Ep1.8Jennifer is determined to start afresh without Richard. She gets offered her job back at the TV station. Jennifer is confident that she’ll be fine at work with her positive never-say-die attitude. However, her first day of work starts disastrously as she is tasked to do the most difficult interview in her life. Durrani tries to be the model wife - submissive and attentive to all the needs of her husband. How long will she be able to keep it up? Kai meets his father for the first time.
