The partner of Eames' husband who was killed in the line of duty, is killed. And later someone who help convict the man whom they believe killed Eames' husband is also killed. So they think it might be retaliatory. But Goren looks into Eames' husband's death and thinks the man who was convicted is innocent which makes a lot of cops unhappy.
