When a young man is killed by some drug dealers, it is revealed that he was killed because it was discovered that he's an informant for the police. But it is also learned that the cop whom he worked for was informed that he was in danger but chose not to do anything. McCoy wants to prosecute him while Briscoe empathizes with him.
