Cerreta and Logan investigate the murder of a Jewish diamond dealer after he is found murdered and burned to death in an alley. Five African-American youths were seen running from the scene. They were arrested and finally acquitted after it was proven they didn't do it. As the investigation continues, it leads to pleas for justice by the victim's brother, who may know the real truth about his brother's murder.
