Joining him is the young wide eyed female contestant Katuski who has no business being in this tournament but like the rest of these fighters are desperate. But it’s the savage slasher, Bukotsu, who is the main obstacle for Saga and Katuski one the most memorable character on the show. His animalistic and sadistic tendencies makes him an absolute menace and a very memorable villain. Last Samurai Standing doesn’t try to be prestige television—it knows its audience wants mayhem, drama, and swords cutting through just about everything in sight. And it delivers with confidence. This is action-cinema euphoria stretched across a binge-ready season. If you have a soft spot for chaotic violence, stylish duels, and characters who refuse to die quietly, this series is your new obsession.
