- Daevid VincentDecember 29, 2024This show would not normally be something I'd even consider but a friend of mine made me watch the first episode and I was riveted on the edge of my seat. We binge watched all seven episodes and I thought it was over then I was angry that it would end like that but then I was angry that I had to wait for three more episodes LOL. I'm glad to hear there's a season two in the works. The show is incredible!

It gives off major Yellowstone vibes with that classic Taylor Sheridan grit, but the West Texas oil rig setting feels so refreshing and unique. The cast is amazing! Billy Bob Thornton is incredible. easily making this one of the best tv shows out there right now. Highly recommend!
- attilahlivaApril 4, 2025Absolutely powerful series. The dramaturgy is almost perfect, every scene carries weight. Billy Bob Thornton is phenomenal, but the supporting cast is outstanding too. I enjoyed every minute – I haven’t seen something this intense in a long time. The visuals and music perfectly support the atmosphere. The characters are deep and authentic – which is rare these days. Each episode leaves something behind. From now on, Billy Bob Thornton is among the greatest for me.

The emotional weight feels incredibly real, and it’s easy to get fully immersed in the story. The finale is absolutely insane unforgettable.

The series does a good job with the drama and intrigue that goes on with the oil business and Thornton brings along his likability and polarizing charm. Along for the ride is the ageless beauty Ali Larter who plays Thornton’s crazy ex-wife, Jon Hamm who plays Thornton’ tough as nails boss, and the always sensational Demi Moore.
