

King Phrommathat and his family meet the giantess Apsorn in the forest, who enchants the king and orders the execution of his wife, Suwanampha, and son, Laksanawong. However, the executioner spares them. Suwanampha is taken by King Wirunmat, while Laksanawong is raised by Thipkesorn, the lady of the water lily. After Laksanawong's education, he sets out to find his mother and seek justice for his family.
