Animal documentary series are legion, so much so that it is difficult to distinguish them from each other... This one, produced by a Montreal box, offers an original angle to observe species of fauna: it dissects aging in animals. Each of the five episodes focuses on a particular aspect of this inevitable phenomenon for all living beings, often through the life history of specimens of a few species that have been closely followed by researchers. This process is not so new in the scripting of wildlife documentaries; it is particularly effective here.
