Episode 1After an absence of fourteen years, Anne Darcel, accompanied by her daughter Nina, returns to France to try to save her gravely ill mother, who needs a spinal cord transplant. On her arrival, she learns that she is not the natural daughter of the woman she had always believed to be her mother. A few hours later, her mother dies, taking her secret with her. Anne sets off in search of her origins.
