As Leopold's kidnapping stretches into its second week (coinciding with a family anniversary), Lucian and members of the Cain family begin seeing his ghost, which in some instances proves helpful. Conrad discovers Ellie was involved in the disappearance of his mistress, Virgil remains at large, and Lucian, just like he had the Accountant strapped to a chair for torture, finds himself captured for torture by a man assigned to end the Accountant.
