Frank Is in a Coma Ratings & Reviews
- DriftByte4d agoEpisode 1 of this season got me worried, but episode 2 brings back the greatness.

- Matthew RotherhamJuly 10, 2025After a shaky start, this might be one of the funniest episodes they have done in years.
- Scott PhelpsJuly 19, 2025This episode was like having your cake and eating it - fantastic, they're back! No need to binge watch older seasons anymore (which we all will definitely continue to do regardless 👀😅)
- Jacob O’NealJuly 11, 2025This was a much smarter episode than the season premiere. It was biting, had a little commentary and a great moment that made me laugh very hard at the end. The episode revolves around Dee ticking Frank so hard he goes into a coma and the gang goes through the 5 stages of grief before finally accepting that this may be the end for Frank as he lays in the tiny apartment he shares with Charlie while hooked up to medical equipment. The guys all go to a gala, get mistaken for waiters, meet a guy in the bathroom and do coke with him only to end up in seedier places with meth and fentanyl, worried that Frank never prepared them properly for the business world. Meanwhile, Dee watches over Frank with a nurse and goes through her own 5 stages of grief while getting worried looks from said nurse. This is classic Sunny. It works on most levels, has fun playing with the premise of business deals, not respecting your elders, the characters thinking they’re being taught a life lesson only to have the rug pulled out from under them so they learn nothing. This episode is far from perfect, but it was so nice to see that they have not lost their edge. The laughs were strong with this episode. It makes the season premiere forgivable since these hit back to back. Overall, it’s a good start to season 17 of the longest running live action sitcom in the history of television.
