The Gang F***s Up Abbott Elementary Ratings & Reviews
- DriftByteJuly 26, 2025Was HR in the room during this episode? First episode ever that was bad, which is very unusual for Sunny.
- MemesalotJuly 24, 2025What the actual F was that. Totally not expecting this bad of a first episode of the reboot.
- Mat BJuly 13, 2025wtf was this shit
- Scott PhelpsJuly 19, 2025A bit of a mediocre start from the Paddy's gang side of this story (although, then watching the Abbott's Elementary episode - which is tenfold funnier, even when PG rated - the wheels started turning again) but definitely adds some funny "add-ons". Don't watch this individually from the Abbott's Elementary episode (S04E09), it won't be enjoyable otherwise.
- Delroy G JamesJuly 14, 2025For those who hated this episode, they may not have watched the Abbott Elementary crossover. Everything that happened in this episode is an expansion of Abbott S04E09. They are as despicable as they have always been, but since they are crossing over, they couldn't go over the top as usual.
- kaipadaJuly 11, 2025This is not the sunny I was expecting
- Jacob O’NealJuly 11, 2025I love this show. I really do. For a season premiere, this was not the strongest outing. It has some fun moments, but the other half of this crossover was actually funnier. On the It’s Always Sunny side of things it was put together like it was leftovers of the Abbot episode. They even say so a couple times in the show. That’s exactly what it felt like - the stuff they cut from the first part to pad out the new season. But any Sunny is better than no Sunny. With the complaints out of the way, let me say that I loved Dennis in this episode. He was the saving grace. His use of the chemistry lab to make gourmet coffee for the staff was perfectly Dennis. It felt like this and the second episode of the season so far were light on Frank. Although not an original cast member, the show feels like less without him. Yes, he was there, but not as a central part of the plot. The best part was seeing the Abbot staff not be constrained by network television and get to say and do some things they’d never get away on their ABC show. Although it felt like Disney crossing over the shows for ratings, the two shows complimented each other well enough to make this a fun crossover and not so much like something that forced like sending Urkel from Chicago to San Francisco just so he could have a flimsy excuse to be on Full House. This was not that by any stretch. It was a solid effort, but a poor season premiere. This feels like a mid-season episode they used to use for filler, not bad but not converting people to the Sunny cult.
