Two violent crimes puzzle Brandtner and Rex. A manager and an usher are beaten to death without the slightest hint of a motive. Vague clues and clues lead into the student scene to Moritz, who has no alibi for the deeds and allegedly remembers nothing. While the suspect is still being interrogated, the next attack takes place - this time on a harmless passer-by. And again, the investigation leads to a young man who can't remember...
