While father and son Björn and Bengt Elkberg prepare the family cruises firm's centennial, daughter Maren asks for a lavish high-profile marriage with her lover, a volunteering doctor she met on African safari holiday. So the firm's entertainment director Lena Holm postpones her first holiday in years with teen son Julius to act as nuptial party planner, ignoring the groom is none other then her ex Jakob Jansson, whom she left as even worse workaholic. Collobarating on the party preparations, they fall in love again, but daunt spoiling everything fro the Elkbergs, especially when Maren has medical news, followed by a contrary announcement.
