Each winter, snowstorms turn the mountain passes of Norway into some of the most dangerous roads in Europe, blocking vital trade routes and in extreme cases, causing fatal accidents. Helping prevent disaster is down to a rugged group of specialized salvage truck drivers, who rely on their ingenuity, wit and bravery to pull off the perfect "Ice Road Rescue"; and ensure another payday.

Bjoern sets out in a gale to rescue a Chassis Cab almost blown off a main road suspension bridge. The young acting boss, Ole Henrik, is put to the test when his new rookie crew is sent on a challenging rescue mission.

Risk On The RocksBoss Thord puts his life on the line when he crawls under an unstable twenty ton bread truck that is stuck on rocks, after it had failed to negotiate a sharp turn in the road in poor weather conditions.

Landslide LotteryA 50 ton truck and trailer carrying asphalt has crashed above a steep bank. Boss Thord must save it before the ground gives way and causes a mudslide, the only problem is it is the only road in the area and an ambulance must get through.

Black Ice BattleWhen a truck blocks a main road, Thord must rescue it - but the driver doesn't want to pay, so Thord threatens him with house arrest. Then Bjoern deals with a pickup truck stuck down a hill, with the help of a farmer friend

Gridlock HazardThord struggles to rescue a truck on a mountain pass while impatient drivers put his life in danger. Tor Steinar gets a stuck snow plow moving again, and Stig's rescue is made more difficult when some of the truck equipment won't work.

Moonlight MayhemTime is short and the police pile on the pressure when Thord struggles to get a 16-wheeler back on the road. A bread truck off the road, poses a challenge for Stig and Vidar, and young Ole Hendrik takes rookie Maren on her first recovery.

Tough at the TopYoung Ole Henrik has his hands full with a drilling rig that is hanging over a 15 metre cliff. Joe Roger helps a trucker make a delivery of building materials, and after rescuing a trucker at "The Gallows" Thord goes to collect his brand new towing truck.
