He runs into Joe, who's also miserable but for different reasons. Together with Huck, they decide the only thing for them to do is to run away and become pirates. Tom hears about the special service in church, that is dedicated to the three missing boys. Tom swims back to Jackson's Island and tells his friends the news. Muff Potter's TrialThings are looking bleak for Muff Potter as his trial approaches. Tom and Huck become more anxious, torn between wanting to help Muff and worrying about breaking their oath to keep quiet. Buried TreasureBecause Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn are still stressed out of the escape of Injun Joe from the courthouse, the two boys decide to dig for burried treasures. They start to dig in de area of the haunted house. When Tom and Huck find the courage to go into the house they discover Injun Joe and Pard and overhear the two men planning to rob an old lady, who's late husband sent Injun Joe away, when he came to him for help and shelter. - MillionairesE11
MillionairesAs Tom and Becky get more desperate to escape, Tom sees Indian Joe in the caves. Then, just as the search parties are starting to give up hope, Tom finally finds a way out. When Aunt Polly eventually stops keeping Tom in bed to recover, he discovers that the caves have been sealed up with Indian Joe trapped inside. The Rains ComeHuck and Jim find a raft washed ashore by the high water, and think their luck is even better when they also find a house boat... until they discover a dead body inside. SmallpoxHuck and Jim build a shelter for Jim on their raft for Jim to hide in when other boats come near them. When this actually happens Huck tells the boatmen that his very sick father,who is suffering from Smallpox is sleeping there. The men are afraid and leave as fast as they can. On the same day Jim and Huck lose each other when a river steamboat colides with their raft and sinks. - Meet the GrangerfordsE18
Meet the GrangerfordsWith the raft and all his belongings lost, and no idea where Jim is, Huck looks for shelter and stumbles across the Grangerfords. After initially being greeted with guns, Huck manages to persuade them he's not one of the Shepherdsons that they're feuding with and is welcomed into the family, but soon finds himself getting caught up in the middle of their feud. - End of the FeudE20
End of the FeudHuck puts off saying goodbye to the Grangerfords, but when he wakes in the morning the whole house is deserted. He discovers that Sophia's run away to marry a Shepherdson, which escalates the feud, leading to most of the Grangerfords being killed. Meet the Duke and the DauphinWhile looking for food, Huck runs into two men on the run from an angry mob and invites them to join him and Jim on the raft. The pair introduce themselves as Duke and Dauphin, which interests Jim who seems to enjoy serving them. Although Huck has doubts about them being royalty, he decides to keep quiet since he and Jim have secrets of their own and don't want any trouble. - Where Art Thou, Romeo?E22
Where Art Thou, Romeo?The Duke and the Dauphin rehearse their wacky Shakespeare-act on the raft. The Dauphin falls into the water but Huck manages to help him back on the raft again. On opening night, the Duke and the Dauphin perform in front of an audience who don't appreciate what the two are doing. The following day, the Duke and the Dauphin are chased out of the village by the heavily armed inhabitants. - Jim DisappearsE23
Jim DisappearsJim warns Huck, that every time he feels his shoulder twitching, that something bad is going to happen. The Duke goes to town to look for venues for the Shakespeare play they want to perform. When Huck comes back from hunting, he finds that The Dauphin and Jim are gone from the raft. The RescueTom continues to slow down Jim's escape by insisting things be done the way they are in the books and Jim grudgingly goes along with it. But Tom's anonymous letter warning Uncle Silas about the escape attempt proves to be a mistake when Silas gathers the townsfolk together to stop them, and Tom gets shot as he, Huck and Jim try to get away. - The Whole TruthE26
The Whole TruthHuck and Tom help Jim escape from the hut. A search party catches up on them and shoot Tom in the leg. Huck finds a doctor who wants to help Tom and the threesome are brought back to the Phelps'farm. Back at the house aunt Polly arrives and the mix-up between Tom and Huck is explained. Aunt Polly has good news for Jim. Miss Watson stated in her will that Jim is now a free man and no longer has to be afraid of being hunted down.
