Nina and Fabian sneak back into the attic to listen to the cylinders but it makes a loud screeching sound and they have to abandon their plans. Patricia sees someone hanging around on the school grounds and is freaked out, thinking it is a ghost. She confides in her Drama teacher, Jason (Mr. Winkler) who says he'll help her solve the conspiracy surrounding Joy's disappearance. Amber catches Nina with the puzzle piece and forces her to tell all about the quest for Sarah's treasure. While Nina and Fabian visit the attic they listen to the cylinders, Amber sneak into the attic and follows them.
