London demands Hogan and his men must put into play a genius strategy for their underground sabotage network called "The Crittendon Plan", which is only known in depth by its creator, Colonel Crittendon, who must be liberated from another Luftstalag. After they secure him, they find he is the wrong Colonel Crittendon, who only has a "half-baked plan" about beautifying RAF bases with Geraniums.
