Years ago, two leaders battled for the fantastical land of Eternia, one became the good King Randor, the other grew into the evil monster Skeletor who plans to rise once again and take Eternia. To protect the kingdom, the mystical powers of Castle Greyskull chose a hero - Randor's lazy, impulsive teenage son Adam.

    The Beginning (1)The exiled warlord Keldor tells his forces that he has created a device that will destroy the Mystic Wall that keeps them out of Randor's kingdom. When they get to the Mystic Wall, they trigger the device, but all it produces is a mere crack in the wall. Keldor's forces are confused, as they assumed that the device would break the wall completely, but Keldor explains that now they know where to strike. Inside the castle walls, Man at Arms receives a telepathic message from the Sorceress that the time has come.

    The Beginning (2)Adam returns to Catle Grayskull upon witnessing the damage inflcited on the royal palace by Keldor (now calling himself Skeletor due to his horrific appearance) and embraces his new destiny as He-Man, defender of Eternia.

    The Beginning (3)He-Man arrives at what remains of the battleground drawn between Eternia's finest and the forces of Snake Mountain. He and Skeletor duke it out for the first time, with many lives hanging in the balance...literally.

    The Courage of AdamOn Snake Mountain, Skeletor is thinking of a way to get to He-Man so he can get rid of him. Tri-clops begins to question how he's going to beat him, but then asks how they will find him. Skeletor explains that they will follow He-man's scent. Outside, He-man is battling the minions of Skeletor. Thinking that He-Man is in trouble, Orko trips one of the minions, but gets hit by Tri-clops. He thinks he's dead until Man at Arms explains that they are just holographic robots to hone He-Man's skills. Back at Snake Mountain, Beastman explains that he and his hounds followed the scent to Prince Adam's armband. Skeletor thinks that He-Man can't be traced that way, so he plans to kidnap Adam to lure He-Man to him.

    Sky WarAt Snake Mountain Skeletor learns of the meeting beteen strattos and Buzz-Off at the royal palace. Skeletor has Beastman send one gargoyle to spy on them and then speaks of ambrosia, food in Andrinos that boost a person's power. At the royal palace, Randor offers an alliance between the races to defeat Skeletor. Buzz-Off declines because he feels that they can deflect any attack. After they leave Adam leaves and Teela shows her disgust over his skill of diplomacy. On their way back Buzz-Off and the other andreenids are attacked by a group of Avion warriors. Strattos and his group are also attacked but, by a group of Andreenids. Back at the palace Adam over hears about the attack and decides to investigate. Now, as He-man, he and Battle Cat head toward the Mystic Mountain and they pick up Teela along the way. A bunch of Adreenids and Avion warriors are flying back to Snake Mountain when their bodies fluctuate to show that they are really Beastman's gargoyles. It doesn't matter because t

    LessonsEmbarrassed by his mixed-up magical spells, a dejected Orko strays from the Royal Palace. Meanwhile, Skeletor orders Evil-Lyn to steal a powerful artifact known only as the Ram Stone. Evil-Lyn must face her past in retrieving the object, just as a mysterious figure inside Castle Grayskull shows Orko just how important he is in the lives of his fellow Eternians. It is not long before Skeletor has the Ram Stone containing magic strong enough to transform He-Man back into Prince Adam!

When Ram Man awakes, Sersi the Siren stands over him telling him that whenever he hears her song he will obey her every command. Little does Ram Man know that Sersi is actually Evil-Lyn in disquise!

The Masters unite and race across Eternia, as the Evil Warriors, aided by the Dragons, attack Castle Grayskull with a ferocity never before seen!

    TurnaboutIn an effort to prevent Skeletor's evil, Man-At-Arms invents a groundbreaking crystal belt that weakens the villain every time he performs an evil act, or even thinks about doing so. Skeletor is horrified to learn that he can never be evil again, but his Evil Warriors have other ideas. As the heroes believe more peaceful times are upon them Tri-Klops presents to Skeletor a harness, one that will turn He-Man's goodness against him!

The Masters learn of the problems in Veridas and decide to help, knowing nothing of Buzz-Off's previous encounter. Soon, they discover that his desire for revenge against the giants may actually jeopardize the mission!

    SeparationIn an effort to separate themselves, Tuvar and Baddhra, still trapped in the single form of Two Bad, seek out the three pieces of the Triad of Discidium. The Sorceress alerts He-Man of the situation, explaining that the Spell of Seperation was originally invoked by Hordak, but halted as it began to tear the plant apart! But He-Man is too late, Two Bad has already retrieved the three artifacts and is assembling the Triad of Discidium.

    The Council of Evil (1)In a remote area of Eternia, the Evil Warriors are all captured by the Masters of the Universe, and event witnessed by Skeletor with some glee. With the Eternial state of high alert no longer in force, the Masters take a long-deserved break. Their leisure time is cut short when disturbances occur across the planet. When each of the Masters investigates, he or she vanishes. It soon becomes apparent that Skeltor has assembled a new group of warriors, The Council of Evil!

    The Council of Evil (2)He-Man and Battle Car are overpowered by Skeltor's newly formed Council of Evil, but manage to escape capture by transforming back into their other selves. Alongside Teela, they attempt to free the Masters, but fail with Adam losing his Sword of Power in the process. An injured Prince Adam and Cringer journey back to Castle Grayskull when they realize Skeletor is on his way to conquer it. The pair stand in defense of the castle as the Council of Evil and the escaped Evil Warriors arrive in Force!
