Kristel is back a day early from Spanish holiday, having disliked her untidy hotel, and has a fit to see the state of her apartment, where Karen put off cleaning until the last moment and is now instructed to do it all overnight. Marcel offers to help her, but comes up with a hopelessly confusing alphabetical system. Kristel meanwhile helps Josje, who bought a do-it-yourself cupboard kit. The pair unwisely declines assembly help from Bas, finds Marcel far from an ideal helper and oversees a crucial point when the helpful furniture shopkeeper drops by.
