This show took place in the fictional Midwestern town of Springfield. In its early years, the stories centered on the middle class Bauer family, but later the wealthy Spauldings, Chamberlains, and Lewises, along with the working class Reardons and others, took their own places of prominence, though the Bauers remained the heart of the show.

Alan makes hints to Reva about where he is going and Reva heads off in a rush to beat him to CA to warn Jonathan. Later, Jeffrey worries about where Reva is and if Alan did anything to her. Remy goes on a date with Lola but it is interrupted by Natalia. Gus is late to his vow renewal and Harley tells him that she no longer trusts him and takes off her wedding ring. Thursday November 1, 2007Olivia continues to make Gus think that Phillip is trying to take Emma away after Alan orders her too. In the meantime, Alan makes Natalia question Gus's feelings. Ashlee tells Coop that she saw him kissing Ava and Coop tells Ashlee that he wants to be with her, not Ava. Ashlee worries about what Doris will do to Coop. Monday December 3, 2007Ashlee figures out that Doris is trying to rig the election in her favor and puts a stop to it. Doris vows to win the election and take down the Coopers. Marina is surprised when Cyrus says he doesn't want to be partnered up with Harley. Harley does some research on her episode in the stairwell and signs point to a panic attack. Edmund tells Rick that he will reveal the paternity of Beth's baby if Rick doesn't help him stay in Springfield. Wednesday January 2, 2008Harley and Cyrus wake up next to each other, naked. Bill tells Buzz that he will keep quiet if Buzz goes through with his plans for Main Street. Buzz heads to Harley and catches Harley and Cyrus in a compromising situation and he wonders what is going on. Marina tells Buzz that Einstein did fix the election and Buzz later figures it out that Ashlee was the one who did it and he wants answers from her. Later, Buzz announces during his speech that the election was fixed. Doris promises to bring whoever did the fix to justice.
