Season 1

With more Taiwanese students studying at Japanese universities in recent years, Japanese teachers need to better understand these students. When Onizuka (AKIRA) is invited for a one-week teaching exchange program at a Taiwanese high school, he is eager for the experience and takes his friend Ryuuji (Yuu Shirota) with him. On their first day there, Onizuka and Ryuuji meet Saejima (Yusuke Yamamoto), a local legend.

Episode 1In recent years more Taiwanese students have been studying at Japanese universities. To help foster better understanding between the two countries, Onizuka (AKIRA) has been invited to a one week teaching assistant program at a Taiwanese high school. He takes Ryuuji (Yuu Shirota) with him and sets off. Their first day there, they encounter Saejima (Yusuke Yamamoto), and their Taiwanese legend behind. The high school where Onizuka's been staying is ruled by a man who's gained power and money by financing the city's redevelopment. “Bullying is a game.” Anyone who disobeys his son, even the teachers, is kicked out of the school, with no exceptions. At an all-Taiwanese high school, Onizuka's more of place than he's ever been in his life. And what about Ryuuji, who's escaping with a mysterious young girl from some thugs? And where did Saejima go?

Episode 2GTO has settled into his new Taiwanese class as a teaching assistant, but the locals don't like him. All the students are walking out of class, and the principal is threatening to sue him if he can't get them back.

Episode 3GTO is fighting to save the local market from being demolished by a rich real estate developer. He has to save a girl from being kidnapped by thugs, in a place where he doesn't know the culture or the language and has nowhere to turn.

Episode 4In a final standoff at the school, GTO must fight to prevent one of his students from being thrown over a roof, and hopefully help the student reconcile with his estranged father.
