Season 1 Reviews
Variety
Ray Richmond
The actors play it all to deadpan perfection, lending hope that USA won't need to sell its soul to Satan to make a hit of GvsE.
People Magazine
People Staff
The overly violent show has some trouble being gritty and crazy at the same time, but the G in it outweighs the E.
Washington Post
Tom Shales
The notion that the two imbecilic and self-centered heroes represent "good" is as ridiculous as maintaining that the USA Network stands for quality programming.
Entertainment Weekly
Ken Tucker
GvsE kicks La Femme Nikita's posterior as the USA network's coolest show and may be the most underrated show now on the air.
Wall Street Journal
Barbara D. Phillips
Chandler and Henry may work for the Man Upstairs, but it all makes for devilish fun.
New York Post
Michele Greppi
Viewers, whom we suspect will quickly dub the new USA Network series an occult fave, in spite of, or perhaps because of, the fact that it's only about 30 percent story and 70 percent special effects.
