Karen's legal background and Mina's real estate knowledge help them secure diamonds in the rough, then they enlist demo and construction help to get the houses rehabilitated on budget and transformed into stunning homes.

Hoping to sell the home to their friend who owns a wedding dress studio, Mina and Karen tailor the decor to match her taste and create a DIY project from wedding dress material. But when they find out their renovated house isn't up to code, there's a chance they won't be able to finish it on time and on budget.

Once they are back on track, Karen and Mina pour their hearts and souls into finishing the home for friends of the family.

After some fun demo with a giant water hose, they design their new house with a simple, urban and classic aesthetic. After the massive demolition is complete, Mina and Karen get to work designing the new layout, which includes an extra loft space on the second floor and vaulted ceilings in the kitchen. For the design aesthetic, they go with an elegant, bohemian vibe by adding splashes of color to the interior and exterior.

In order to get a payoff as big as the house, they'll have to work through a hair-raising renovation to bring this house back to life.
