At age 27, Lynne takes her first courtroom case of defending a mentally disturbed man for assault, only to self-destruct from her own self-obsession. Meanwhile, office politics plague Sarah who deals with another ambitious co-worker who steals her ideas, and in trying to confront her, only makes herself look like the bad person. Elsewhere, Jeannie deals with amorous advances from a sexist supervisor and she incredibly doesn't know if they are come-ons or just friendly comments.
