- OdinTheRavenKing23. prosince 2025## Synopsis After the end of [[Young Sheldon]], Georgie and Mandy must navigate new marriage, a young baby, and Georgie growing up. ## Review This is a cute show and much like [[Young Sheldon]] and other half hour comedies, there are some good episodes and some not so good episodes. While I do like all the characters, I find the brother, Connor, to be a Sheldon replacement with more social understanding. I don't know if he adds anything of real value other than moving the focus off of Georgie and Mandy. I like him, but he is a Sheldon replacement. As the season went on, they did tone him down quite a bit like they did Leonard in [[The Big Bang Theory]]. The relationship between Georgie and the parents is really good. I like the growth, up until the final episode or two where the Dad just kind of goes sideways. The comedy and drama have a pretty good balance. There are times however, where they have pushed the characters to just be at the limit of acceptable and mainly that is Missy. I understand that idea of pushing away, but she is just unbelievable in the writing portion. Actually the more I think about it, the more it feels like all the leftover main family Young Sheldon cast are just being written out, and they are tearing their stories up. ## [My Rating] Some episodes are super entertaining making you chuckle. It is cute and charming. Funny at times. However, they seem to just not be consistent with the episodes or even how the characters interact with each other from episode to episodes. I think a majority of the episodes are a 7 and part of that is there is this constant looming elephant that it has to end. ## [Parental Rating] Much like Young Sheldon and Big Bang Theory, based on the rules, my parents would watch this. However, I am not sure they would, actually. There isn't a lot of depth and while they don't mind superficial things, this one is just more fluff than substance. Based on the rules, they both approve.
