As they once again set up shop in Greenwich Village, Nikolas encourages Elizabeth to have faith that Lucky will soon emerge from the throngs of faces which have been milling by for days. Stefan tells Alexis he's arranged for them to meet with the doctor who examined Lucky. Sonny rushes Carly to the hospital after she suddenly begins suffering from abdominal cramps. Tony feels buoyant and confident following the surgery to repair his hand. After hearing their tale of woe, a sympathetic police officer allows Elizabeth and Nikolas to remain at their post in the square without the necessary sales permit.
