- Christmas in KaltenthalE1
Christmas in KaltenthalMayor Wöller feels flattered: Shortly before Christmas, he unexpectedly receives an audience with the Pope at very short notice. Since the invitation is for two people, he asks his favorite enemy, Sister Hanna, to accompany him to Rome. Hanna actually has no time at all because preparations for the big Christmas party are in full swing in the monastery. But she can be persuaded to make a generous donation for the children's gifts. Without asking the Mother Superior for permission, she flies to Rome with Wöller - not knowing that the Superior is on the way with her former abbess. But Hanna already has enough problems - with her travel companion. Not only does Wöller show no interest in the sights of the Eternal City, he also has absolutely no understanding of Hanna's support of a young, very pregnant hotel employee who has just been fired. When Wöller then finds out that the supposed private audience is a major event with 300 pilgrims, his good mood is completely over. Offended, he wants to leave. But nothing comes of it because a general strike paralyzes the Italian transport system. Wöller and sister Hanna barely manage to get hold of a dilapidated rental car and embark on a highly adventurous return journey. On the way they also pick up Laura, the young woman who lost her job at the hotel and has to go to Munich. When Hanna learns that the unfortunate woman has problems with her boyfriend, she moves heaven and earth to happily reunite Laura with the father of her child under the Christmas tree. But there is a long way to go until then. - Christmas Under Palm TreesE2
Christmas Under Palm TreesMayor Wöller is fed up: in the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle, he constantly runs into the nuns from Kaltenthal Monastery, who brazenly besiege him with their donation boxes. In order to finally have some peace and quiet, the Christmas grouch decides to book a luxury trip on a cruise ship. But as the saying goes: God's ways are unfathomable - and in this case, thanks to a gift, they also lead Sister Hanna, Sister Felicitas and Sister Agnes on board the luxury liner. Although the Servants have the blessing of Bishop Rossbauer, the strict Superior Elisabeth must under no circumstances find out that they will be spending Christmas Eve under palm trees. At first, Wöller can hardly believe his eyes when he sees the trio on board. You silently decide to stay out of each other's way as much as possible. While the sisters top up the donation box in the on-board casino, the troubled mayor finds the necessary distraction at the side of a fellow passenger named Isabella. In love like a schoolboy, he is in seventh heaven and would like to marry the mysterious beauty straight away. Only Hanna and her fellow sisters seem to sense that the elegant queen of hearts is not playing with open cards. There is another problem child: little Felix, son of the widowed ship owner Max Brockmann, feels neglected by his busy father. The boy repeatedly seeks to be close to the waitress Ursula, who takes loving care of him until Brockmann's strict butler Roland fires the young woman because of her supposed interference. Of course, Hanna, Felicitas and Agnes can't let that go so easily. As if that weren't enough, the three learn that Superior Elisabeth has invited a television team to film the Christmas party in the monastery. For the nuns this means returning to Kaltenthal as quickly as possible before their little excursion is exposed.
