Professor Mat Matic finds a planet on his new telescope, though it is not detected on the World Patrol space scanner. Steve, Venus and the Professor take XL5 to the new planet which turns out to be a metal star. The star is inhabited by evil aliens who abducts the crew and try to get rid of Robert the Robot.
