A former KGB agent, a foreigner, Clifford Linds-Vasilyev, goes "in circulation." The bodies that recruited him no longer exist; the state for which he worked is also not; he was deprived of his American citizenship, and the state-owned apartment in Moscow is required to be immediately vacated.
