When Brian finds a tennis ball from 1999, he and Stewie go back to the events of Death Has a Shadow (1999) and when they get back to present day, America goes to civil war after Brian's past self prevents 9/11. When they go back to 1999 and stop Brian from telling him about it, Brian tells his past self about Harry Potter. And they go back to the past yet again.
