Season 1
Ben (Benaissa Lamroubal), the son of Moroccan immigrants, has dropped out of university and keeps his head above water with low-paid mini-jobs, including one in a call center. When the BAföG office wants to collect the debts he has accumulated for his aborted studies, he comes under pressure. Money has to be found quickly, because Ben's father must not find out under any circumstances that his son is no longer studying. By chance, Ben ends up in a comedy competition that offers prize money. From then on, Ben seeks his fortune in show business.
