Pauline and Martin attend the reading of Mark's will and find that he has taken care of friends and family alike. Both are touched by his gestures and it brings them closer together. Andy puts increasing pressure on Alfie, and Kat decides that it is time to step in. Meanwhile, an optimistic Alfie puts all his faith in a St George's Day celebration at the Queen Vic to raise money.
