Tom has an obstruction in his intestines; David performs surgery to see what it is. The situation affects all the Windsor kids and Claire. Sally tells Claire Tom's illness is her fault leading Claire to run away from Toni's care. Lisa decides to go back to work at Patchett's, Ernie agrees she can come back in a week.
