Christine wants to relax with her new boyfriend Alex in her parents' holiday home on Sylt. But already at the train station she discovers her aunt Inge, who is acting strangely. In the holiday home, which should actually be empty, they meet father Heinz and his wife Charlotte. Inge hides from Heinz, but he soon finds out that his sister is on the island - and that without her husband Walter. Without further ado, Heinz quotes his unsuspecting brother-in-law, a retired tax officer, to the North Sea island. Heinz suspects that his sister Inge is having an affair and wants to separate from Walter. Inge seems to really want to make a splash on Sylt with her new friend Renate, a crazy lady of life. She also meets with the extremely charming Mr. Kampmann. Events roll over when Inge is attacked by a stranger. Everyone is wondering: Why did Inge run away from home without telling anyone?
