Max Brügl, co-owner of the local climbing course, is shot twice on it. Brother Anton opposed his intent to sell the heirloom land. Max also had an affair with his brother's lover, Sofia Ruppert, which Anton and the widow-heiress knew about. Meanwhile the precinct staff wrongly assumes a dinner booking is for them, rather then chief Duda's music academy.
