Travel agency owner Thomas Kron, was skull-smashed there. Client Herbert Süßmaier blamed it for his wife's death on holiday. Co-founder Davor 'Piero'Perkov was demoted to employee. Hansen and Stadler also grill Kron's wealthy girl friend Erika Gassner, who found him unfaithful, and her daughter Nicole Gassner, who feared for her inheritance. Apprentice detective Ludwig Loibl joins them, bright, observant, erudite and enterprising, but makes a lousy start with Achziger by failing to report for duty first.
