Die MutprobeDr. Filipa Wagner returns to Mauritius to continue her work at the beach resort and as a volunteer island doctor. The first encounter with her "ex" Dr. Daniel Bucher, who has decided on his "former" family with his wife Jenny, is not long in coming. When Daniel's daughter Isabelle finds herself in serious danger when she dares to jump off a coastal cliff, the teenager turns to her temporary "surrogate mom" for help. Filipa takes Isabell's rescuer Jean, who has severely cut his arm, to Daniel at the hospital. At the surprising reunion, the otherwise self-confident chief physician is anything but confident: his feelings for Filipa are too strong. She, on the other hand, does not want to mourn the loss of her great love and meets the charming specialist Devin, who treats her best friend Emi. Emi's worries about her mysterious symptoms of illness are replaced by a big surprise for her and her boyfriend Mike. Young fisherman Jean's wound turns into a medical emergency. When he finally asks Filipa for help, she has to make a difficult decision with Daniel.
