Metal Gear Solid is an stealth action game by Konami for the PlayStation, and the series was created by Hideo Kojima. Metal Gear Solid follows the soldier Solid Snake, who attempts to neutralize a terrorist threat from the renegade unit FOXHOUND. The game shipped more than six million copies, and scored an average of 94/100 on Metacritic. A remake called Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes was later released for the GameCube.
