Sonic 06 was developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and was produced in commemoration of the series' 15th anniversary. The game had a rushed development period, and was released to the public with countless bugs and glitches. Both the PS3 and 360 version were heavily criticized for long loading times, poor controls, glitches, and a complicated plot. Various publications have rated Sonic 06 among the worst games ever made.
