With the law closing in, The Mole gets desperate, and petty crook "The Joker" tries to burn out the Mole's sensitive eyes so he can steal the plates, but fails. Mole retaliates by disguising himself and making try at killing Joker at his magic shop. Dick Tracy and the police force Mole out of his lair with smoke bombs.
