- Oʂɯαʅԃσ Rσყҽƚƚ26. März 2026I missed Dexter so much and was so excited to hear that it was getting revived for this series. Dexter is easily one of my favorite shows of all-time and one of the few shows I can watch all the way through several times over without getting bored.
- Danny Potter-Jones28. Dezember 2025I recommend you watch it to make your own assumptions. There are people that like it and there are some that don't, I'm in the don't like category. For anybody comparing it to the books as they say it's darker and grittier like the books first of all the TV show Dexter and the books are too completely different Dexters. If we'd follow the books from day one then maybe I could get round disliking it but these are two different Dexters so don't bother comparing them also if I'm not mistaken the books are way too dark to have as a TV show that's why it changed so much so you're never going to get the books. The real reason I don't like it is because it feels rushed and Dexter seems more stupid then he usually is Dexter is supposed to be highly intelligent and seems much more selective with his intelligence but when you watch the original series he does make mistakes but the mistakes he makes in New Blood seems unbelievable for me. They seem to ignore the evidence and Dexter's code a little bit. Yes, I get it Dexter's code is don't get caught is his main one which would over turn the others rules but if you use your brain there is no evidence you wouldn't take some random cops words over evidence and the last episode is the real problem for me it maybe be a small scene and some can over look it but I can't. I'm not spoiling it you will get what I mean when you watch the show. My other issue is Dexter's son he's annoying and confusing and he's just not convincing as an actor, no I don't think he's bad but I did originally, I believe he was told to act that way in New blood but in Resurrection he is far better. Debs scenes are hilarious but I don't think Dexter should be this much of a comedy.

The season starts strong but falls apart half way through and portrays Dexter as doing things younger Dexter would never do. Worth a watch if you are a Dexter fan but don't expect it to fix any disappointment you had.
