Hinduism also defines fourteen worlds seven higher worlds and seven underworlds and how they came into existence also has many different versions. In this episode, Devdutt Pattanaik decodes the various cosmogonic myths surrounding the creation of the world. He explains the various stories accepted by people belonging to different sects i.e: Vaishnavaites believe that Lord Vishnu, in the shape of a boar, plunged into the cosmic waters and brought forth the earth. He offers a neutral viewpoint regarding the roles played by the Hindu pantheon in the creation of the universe.
