Malcolm, a naive and narrow-minded vampire, is thrust out of his home and into the underground culture of the Halfbreeds - the drug-infused lower caste of the vampire community. As he struggles to acclimate to his new environment and uncover the mysterious circumstances of his past, a terrifying and cataclysmic vampire race war looms just over the horizon.
