    AfscheidIn Beatrix's late reign, prince-consort Claus's health fatally deteriorates, gradually disabling him form public life, withdrawing into a palace annex with his nurses. Crown prince Willem Alexander's Argentinian fiancee Maxima is introduced to the public, the Kock government disarms the risk of her junta father by banning him from the grand wedding. After Claus's death and funeral, Beatrix shortens the script to avoid another public loss of control losing her parents Juliana and Bernard -who left a posthumous bomb disclosing his bastard daughters in TV interviews- and junior son but smart confident Friso, who has a fatal ski incident. Shortly after, she signs her abdication in favor of the well-prepared heir.
